British Consul-General for Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, Paul Heardman, visited the Bavarian region of Traunstein on 11 March.

The Consul-General met local Parliamentarian Klaus Steiner as well the Mayors in Übersee, Tachtering and Tittmoning.

There was also an opportunity to visit a local aerospace company where the Consul-General had the chance to discuss future bilateral cooperation opportunities. This was followed by a visit to an organic dairy farm, which gave Mr Heardman a chance to see the economic diversity of Traunstein.

The visit was organised by local student Julian Bertmann who is also an alumnus of the British German Forum.
