British Ambassador visits Cuando Cubango
The British Ambassador to Angola, John Dennis, visited Cuando Cubango to support the on-going work of mine clearance in the region.

John Dennis (HMA) visited the province of Cuando Cubango recently, with his fellow EU Heads of Mission. The provincial authorities arranged a fascinating programme, which showed the growing trade and investment opportunities in this developing part of Angola.
Integral to that development is the crucial and ongoing work of a number of de-mining organisations, including the Halo Trust with which the provincial authorities and the EU have worked closely. The more land that is cleared of this legacy of the civil war, the easier it will be become to realise the vast agricultural and other potential of the areas concerned
