Embassies support Athens Pride
The Embassies of Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland,the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, the UK, and the USA in Greece lend their support to Athens Pride on June 14, 2014.
Our countries strongly support the rights of LGBT people, along with our commitment to universal human rights.
Our countries, together with member states of the United Nations, participate actively in international efforts to combat social stigma and the violation of human rights based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
As such, we support the efforts of human rights groups and NGOs such as Athens Pride, whose actions are key in this battle against discrimination.
