The conference was an opportunity for the Embassy to update its consular network on consular assistance policies including the new strategy 2016-2020, focusing on key issues such as child safeguarding and helping vulnerable individuals.
Guest speakers from the Ecuadorean Geophysical Institute and Ministry of Health gave presentations on seismic and volcanic risks in Ecuador and an overview of the public health system respectively.
