Agritech experts visit Paraguay
Two British experts in agritech from the Department of International Trade visited Paraguay to gain an insight of this sector and explore business opportunities for the future.
During their mission the two experts called on the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, National National Service of Animal Health, National Service for Plant and Seed Quality and Health (SENAVE), Paraguayan Institute of Agrarian Technology (IPTA); representatives of cooperatives, Paraguayan businessmen active in this sector. Moreover they visited a ranch in the Paraguayan Chaco and saw firsthand the leadership Paraguay possess in bovine genetics.

This visit is a direct result of the UK-Paraguay Invest Forum which took place in London in September 2016 organised by REDIEX and counted with the presence of the Paraguayan Minister of Industry and Commerce Gustavo Leite.
This is the first such visit in Paraguay since the Embassy re-opened in 2013.
