Advisors to the Environment Secretary appointed

Will Harris will advise on customer delivery, while Sir Roy Stone will advise on Defra’s legislative programme

Will Harris and Sir Roy Stone have today (Thursday 28 March) been appointed as advisors to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

Will Harris will support, advise and challenge the department on its customer focus and how it delivers for customers. Sir Roy Stone will focus on the department’s legislative programme.

Biographies

Will Harris

Will is a non-executive director at the Department of Health and Social Care. He is currently the founding executive at Bridge F61, a marketing consultancy. His previous experience includes Chief Marketing Officer roles at LVMH, Nokia and Battersea Power Station, as well as Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer for Karhoo. Will was formerly a non-executive at The London Library and a non-executive director at Nottingham Trent University.

Sir Roy Stone

Sir Roy is currently a non-executive director at the Department of Health and Social Care and a visiting Professor at the University of Lincoln. He was previously a Senior Parliamentary and legislative adviser to the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and former No10 Chief of Staff. He was previously a Parliamentary Clerk for Prime Ministers Margaret Thatcher, John Major and Tony Blair.
