Responsibilities

The Parliamentary Secretary is responsible for supporting the Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister and the Minister for the Cabinet Office on coordination and delivery of cross-government priorities.

In particular, the Minister’s responsibilities are to support the Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister and the Minister for the Cabinet Office on:

• EU Reset and the Windsor Framework
• Government commercial function
• Infrastructure delivery
• Union and constitutional matters
• Fiscal events and departmental business planning
• Transparency and freedom of information policy
• Inquiries policy
