Stephen Morgan was appointed Minister of State in the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs on 12 June 2026.
He was previously Junior Lord of the Treasury (Government Whip) from 7 September 2025 to 12 June 2026 and Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Minister for Early Education) at the Department for Education between 9 July 2024 and 7 September 2025.
He was elected as the Labour MP for Portsmouth South in June 2017.
