- asylum, illegal migration and returns policy, safe and legal policy and refugee resettlement policy
- reducing net migration: legal migration policy
- tackling visa abuse
- innovative solutions
- Immigration White Paper implementation
- European Entry and Exit System
- modern slavery policy as it relates to immigration status
Current role holder
The Rt Hon Anna Turley MP
Anna Turley was appointed Minister of State in the Home Office on 21 July 2026.
She was previously Minister of State in the Cabinet Office (Minister without Portfolio) from 6 September 2025 to 21 July 2026 and Junior Lord of the Treasury (Government Whip) from 10 July 2024 to 6 September 2025.
She was elected as the MP for Redcar in July 2024.
