Trent Regional Flood and Coastal Committee (RFCC)

The Regional Flood and Coastal Committee (RFCC) is a committee established by the Environment Agency under the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 that brings together members appointed by Lead Local Flood Authorities (LLFAs) and independent members with relevant experience for 3 purposes:

  • to encourage efficient, targeted and risk-based investment in flood and coastal erosion risk management that represents value for money and benefits local communities

We are currently recruiting for the following members:

  • 2 x general Environment Agency appointed members

The Environment Agency is a diverse organisation which takes pride in welcoming applicants from all sections of the community. You don’t need to be a flood or environmental expert to make a valuable contribution to the RFCC’s work. We need a diverse range of members bringing different experiences and viewpoints to the table.

If you are interested in joining the Committee and would like to apply, please contact the Trent RFCC Secretariat, who will send you an application pack.
