Call for evidence description

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) is reviewing the Research Councils in accordance with the government’s commitment to review public bodies. These reviews aim to increase the accountability for actions carried out on behalf of the state.

This review looks at the structures for delivering funding for the research base. It is not a review of the government’s underlying policy on funding the research base.

We hope to receive evidence from a wide variety of stakeholders and invite information from any party with an interest.
