Consultation description

This consultation sets out proposed changes to the structure and rates of the General Levy on occupational and personal pension schemes for the period from April 2027 to March 2030. We are seeking views to help ensure the levy remains fair, sustainable, and aligned with the changing pensions landscape.

It is primarily aimed at those who pay or are otherwise affected by the General Levy, including trustees of occupational pension schemes, sponsoring employers, personal pension providers, and pensions industry bodies. However, the government welcomes responses from all interested parties.
