  1. we do not need to further legislate to give full effect of article 21(1)
  2. we will not introduce the proposed draft regulations

Consultation description

These amendments to the biofuel labelling regulation are to implement Article 21(1) of Directive 2009/28/EC. The article which requires that, where more than 10% biofuel, by volume, is used it is indicated at point of sale.

An impact assessment of implementing these amendments was completed on 26 July 2011.
