The Government is seeking views from all interested parties, individuals and groups from across the United Kingdom on the matters covered by this consultation.
Purpose of this consultation
Extending non-jury trial provisions under the Justice and Security (Northern Ireland) Act 2007 requires secondary legislation which must be approved by both Houses of Parliament. This consultation therefore invites people to provide views on the extension of non-jury trial provisions under the Justice and Security (Northern Ireland) Act 2007 for a further two years from the end of July 2019.
