Detail of outcome

A government response has been published on proposals to amend regulations and allow the parking of cars via a remote device. We will continue:

  • amending legislation, via statutory instrument, to clarify the use of remote control parking
  • to regulate in a programme of reform and policy development, working closely with industry and other stakeholders
