The Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 grants a wide variety of powers to public bodies in relation to the recovery of the proceeds of crime.

Three public sector organisations have applied to the Home Office to be designated as agencies whose staff can use these powers.

This consultation seeks views on whether these organisations should be granted access to certain powers under POCA:

  • Forestry Commission
  • Intellectual Property Office
  • Immigration Advice Authority
