Consultation description

On 8 May 2026, the Northern Ireland Office (NIO) launched a public consultation on the proposed three-year investment plan for the new Local Growth Fund in Northern Ireland.

The responses will help to develop a new model for local growth funding, focused on targeted, long-term interventions to support sustainable economic growth.

The consultation closed on 26 June 2026. The UK Government response, which provides a summary of responses to the consultation, can be found below.
