This consultation seeks views on proposals to support the fair, transparent and responsible use of workplace monitoring technologies, in line with the commitments set out in the Plan to Make Work Pay.
The consultation considers options to improve:
- clarity
- transparency
- worker voice
- broader industrial relations around the use of workplace monitoring technologies
This consultation seeks views from all parts of society and we encourage everyone with a view on the use of workplace monitoring technologies to respond.
We strongly encourage you to answer this consultation via the online platform. Using the online survey will assist our analysis of the responses, enabling more efficient and effective consideration of the issues raised.
Following consultation, the government will review and analyse the responses received. Drawing on this evidence, it will develop a final policy proposal that reflects the views expressed and that supports the fair, transparent and responsible use of workplace monitoring technologies.
