Detail of outcome

On 29 October 2015, we will implement the following changes:

  • Count company insolvencies in the period they began, rather than when they were registered at Companies House.
  • Estimate the number of insolvencies in the latest period by extrapolating from partial data.
  • Provide a comparable time series back to 2008 initially, and further back as resources allow.
  • Publish statistics on administrative receiverships, but not on other receivership appointments.
