We want to know what you think about a proposal to remove Lyme Regis Church Cliff Beach from the list of bathing waters designated under the Bathing Water Directive (2006/7/EC). This proposal follows a survey of beach usage during 2014.

We have published evidence of usage at the site for bathing and other beach activities. You can also read the criteria for designation and dedesignation of bathing waters.

This consultation is of interest to beach users, the leisure and tourist industries, environmental NGOs and anyone with an interest in the coastal environment.
