Our proposals aim to reform 16 to 19 performance measures so they:

• improve outcomes
• provide reliable and meaningful information

We are seeking views on ways we can:

• make 16 to 19 performance measures more consistent and comprehensive
• improve English and maths progress measures
• refine retention measures

The consultation document explains the changes we propose to make. It asks for comments from everyone who has an interest, including:

• parents and carers
• students
• post-16 providers
• school and college leaders
• teachers

The proposals may also be of interest to:

• local authorities
• academic organisations
