Statistics on student support applications for higher education in England
This is published by the Student Loans Company in collaboration with BIS statisticians.
To meet public interest in Student Finance England’s processing of applications for student support in higher education, the Student Loans Company has released provisional statistics to show how applications are progressing through the processing stages and to show the payment status of applications in this cycle.
The first release relating to applications for student support for the academic year 2012 to 2013 was published on 14 June 2012 and showed the status of applications as of 31 May 2012 (the deadline for applications for prospective new students).
The latest releases relate to applications for student support for the academic year 2012 to 2013:
- The first release was published on 14 June 2012 and shows the status of applications for student support as of 31 May 2012 (the deadline for applications from prospective new students). It also shows the payment status of those applications for maintenance support due at the start of term.
- The second release was published on 10 July 2012 and shows the status of applications for student support as of 30 June 2012. It also shows the payment status of those applications for maintenance support due at the start of term.
- The third release was published on 9 August 2012 and shows the status of applications for student support as of 31 July 2012. It also shows the payment status of those applications for maintenance support due at the start of term.
- The fourth release was published on 11 September 2012 and shows the status of applications for student support as of 31 August 2012. It also shows the payment status of those applications for maintenance support due at the start of term.
- The fifth release was published on 09 October 2012 and shows the status of applications for student support as of 30 September 2012. It also shows the payment status of those applications for maintenance support due at the start of term.
- The sixth and final release was published on 23 October 2012 and shows the status of applications for student support as of 14 October 2012. It also shows the payment status of those applications for maintenance support due at the start of term.
