The Commercial Victimisation Survey has been paused while we review methods used in the collection of business crime statistics. We will provide further updates in due course.

The Commercial Victimisation Survey (CVS) is an annual survey of businesses in England and Wales. The CVS was previously run in 1994, 2002 and then annually from 2012 to 2022. The CVS did not run in 2019 and 2020 while it was paused to review user needs, and further delayed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The next results, from the 2023 CVS, are expected to be published in 2024.
