Over £170,000 for Margaret Haes Riding Centre
£171,500 was allocated to Margaret Haes Riding Centre Limited in Bury in December 2022 from the UK Community Ownership Fund.
Margaret Haes Riding Centre has been established for over 50 years and used by multiple local groups, charities and other organisations.
This funding will enable the organisation to work on their project ‘The Spirit of the Horse’ and purchase the site to retain and protect the riding centre. They also intend to expand the facilities offered on site by utilising unused spaces to provide areas for community use such as an art hub and event space.
