£240,000 funding for Zion Bristol

£240,000 was allocated to Zion Bristol Limited in Bristol in December 2022 from the UK Community Ownership Fund.

The chapel was built in 1890 and has been used as a community asset hosting events for:

  • local history groups
  • parents
  • children
  • elderly
  • artists and music groups

Zion Bristol plan to use this funding to ensure that the Zion Chapel remains in community ownership. It will be used to run over 200 activities and events each year as well as providing:

  • meeting spaces
  • office space
  • hot desking facilities
