FLOODsite

Details

FLOODsite was the largest ever EU-funded research project on flooding. The results were achieved through a programme of 35 tasks and by a research consortium of 37 partners, with a combined budget of 20 million euro.

The Environment Agency project included providing scientific, technical and guidance expertise. This also included taking part in advisory boards and distributing the results of the programme. The project provided a first step in exploring the value of using the results of the FLOODsite project, together with current industry methods and tools for managing flood risk.
