Details

This project, which started in January 2017, transferred all futurecoast data from CD to an online location. This was to increase access to a resource, which is still widely used by coastal managers.

The original futurecoast project was commissioned by Defra in 2002 to support the Shoreline Management Review process. It collated and assessed available knowledge on past coastal change at different scales, and described the way in which the coastline might be expected to evolve in the coming decades.

All outputs are available from the Channel Observatory website.
