Details

This project developed a method for blending storm scale Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) forecasts with an Ensemble Nowcasting system. It tested whether the new approach has the capability to produce improved rainfall forecasts for flood prediction.

The project started in 2007 and was completed in 2010.
