2. Interim authority notice

An interim authority notice can be made during the initial 28 day period following the death, incapacity or insolvency of the licence holder and, unless it becomes cancelled in accordance with s.48 of the Licensing Act 2003, may last for three months. A premises licence will lapse on expiry of the notice unless an application to transfer is received.

3. Application to transfer premises licence

To provide late-night refreshments, regulated entertainment and sell alcohol, in England and Wales, you need a licence from the local authority. If there is a change in ownership of the business then the premises licence may be transferred to the new owner. The new owner should submit an application to transfer which must be accompanied a consent to transfer form which must be signed by the existing licence holder.

7. Notification of an interest in premises under section 178

If you hold a 'property interest' in a premises you can apply to be notified of any changes to its premises licence. This notification of interest will last for one year and during that time we will let you know when we receive any applications and when we issue any further licences. You must renew each year to maintain these notifications.

To provide late-night refreshments, regulated entertainment and sell alcohol, in England and Wales, you need a licence from the local authority. In order to transfer a premises licence to a new licensee your local authority request the consent of the current licence holder.

10. Request to be removed as designated premises supervisor

This form is to be used if you no longer wish to be responsible for the sale of alcohol at a premises and want to remove yourself as the Designated Premises Supervisor on a premises licence. There is no fee to remove yourself as the designated premises supervisor but (unless you are also the licence holder) you must notify the licence holder of your request to be removed from the licence.
