Launch of commitments

1 April 2026: Following the CMA’s SMS investigation into Apple’s mobile platform, and after we sought views from stakeholders, Apple has implemented commitments voluntarily made to the CMA to address concerns in the areas of app review, app ranking and use of data, as well as to enable developers to request interoperable access to features and functionality within Apple’s operating system.
