Abstract

This is Ofcom’s annual Connected Nations report, which measures progress in the availability and capability of broadband and mobile services in the UK. It also highlights the work we are doing, alongside UK and devolved governments and communications companies, to improve these services. This year’s report is being published as the UK continues to address the challenges of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic; a time when people, families and businesses have come to rely on their phone and broadband connections as never before. We report on how the networks have performed during this period and how the availability of services has evolved.
