Abstract

This report is an outline of the activities and methods that culminated in the development of a training manual aimed at service providers who are interested in empowering and equipping communities to deal with the impacts of HIV/AIDS. Specifically, the training manual was based on research undertaken in Lestotho and Malawi in 2001 to explore children's migration within the context of AIDS, to examine the impacts of this and develop appropriate policy responses.
