Abstract

This paper provides an overview of initial findings from research conducted in Zambia and South Africa. It highlights the role of Global Health Initiatives in the implementation of ART roll-out, observes the ways in which they operate, focusing on significant commonalities and differences, and based on this analysis, highlights their impact and potential concerns and challenges arising from their engagement.
