Abstract

SHARE funded a two-day workshop in July 2012 entitled \"Improving documentation in the WASH sector for policy, programmes and publication\". The workshop aimed to give WASH practitioners the skills, know-how and confidence to communicate their experiences, ideas and recommendations effectively in writing. It was designed around seven key aspects of written communication while investigating various different publications and writing styles aimed at a wide range of audiences. Course materials comprise a Facilitators Manual, Facilitator's Handouts and a Participants folder including 24 examples of writing.
