Video Podcast of ESRC-DFID Choices Project Workshop with Policy Makers, Rio de Janeiro.
Abstract
At the end of the research phase and the start of the dissemination phase, the project hosted 2 key dissemination workshops in Rio de Janeiro. One with representatives from civil society and one with policy makers. The workshop with policy makers brought together policy makers from different ministries and agencies, from Chile and Brazil. The Choices project presented results and these presentations were filmed. However, the subsequent discussion which covered for example the challenges of implementing policy was conducted under Chatham House rules. The workshop speakers spoke in either Portuguese, Spanish or English and there was professional three-way simultaneous translation available.
