Abstract

At the end of the research phase and the start of the dissemination phase, the project hosted 2 key dissemination workshops in Rio de Janeiro. One with representatives from civil society and one with policy makers. The workshop with Civil Society brought together NGOs, arms-lengths bodies and campaign organisations from Brazil and Chile. In the morning we presented findings from the project, while in the afternoon Rob Harrison (Ethical Consumer Magazine, UK) offered a training workshop on using research data in campaigns for ethical consumption. The workshop speakers spoke in either Portuguese, Spanish or English and there was professional three-way simultaneous translation available.
