Abstract

A previous DFID project, R7778, identified and developed outputs that would contribute to the development of technologies for sustainable management of rice sheath blight. The major objective of Project R8446 was validation of some of these technologies, namely the molecular tools for pathogen detection and diagnosis, biological disease control methods, and improved rice varieties.
