Abstract

This guideline document provides a brief summary of the water quality modelling software package Qual2K and explains some of the issues as well as the merits of using the software, principally at muncipality level in China.

This document should be read in conjunction with Thematic Paper 1.5 - Use of Water Quality Modelling for Water Protection and Example 1.5 - Water Quality Modelling in Chaoyang, Liaoning Province.
