Abstract

An overview is given of research into appropriate LVRR pavement and surfacing options in Vietnam, Lao and Cambodia under (SEACAP), a research programme funded by DfiD, World Bank, and the Asian Development Bank. Topics outlined are: performance of gravel roads; pavement trials; standards and specifications; mainstreaming and uptake.
