Several home-based voluntary HIV counseling and testing services operating in Africa are described. They include The AIDS Support Organization (TASO) in Mbale, Uganda; the AIDS Information Centre (AIC) in Uganda; The Foundation Agency for Rural Development in Nairobi, Kenya and programmes in Lesotho.
