Abstract

The main purpose of this workshop was to initiate discussion as to how the water policy framed by the State of Himachal Pradesh, India, can be implemented in an environmentally sustainable manner. The participants were drawn from all the HP state line departments and other stakeholders associated with the water sector. The workshop was divided into 3 segments: an inaugural session, a session for technical presentations and another session for panel discussion and formulation of recommendations.
