Abstract

this paper seeks to summarise some of the concerns that have been raised about the World Health Report 2000 as well as some of the responses to them. It then raises a series of questions that may facilitate discussions during the consultation. This paper should be read in association with the Background Paper for this consultation, prepared by WHO HQ.
