Abstract

This editorial describes the problem of Chagas' disease, efforts to control it, and factors hindering these efforts; it introduces a series of articles on the subject co-ordinated by Médecins sans Frontières and DNDi, and describes the challenges facing control of the disease in the coming decade and partnerships to address these. It is concluded that greater efforts are needed.
