Abstract

UNFPA Colombia undertook this research to examine the specific impacts of the global financial crisis on Colombia. Four studies were carried out:

  • Socioeconomic impacts of the international crisis in Colombia
  • International migration and remittances in the context of the crisis
  • A case study on sexual and reproductive health, gender and its inter-linkages with migration and remittances in Eje Cafetero region
  • The youth and the international crisis.

The findings are brought together in this report.
