The CLP aims to improve livelihoods, incomes and food security of over one million people living on island chars in NW Bangladesh. The second phase of the programme (CLP-2, 2010-2016) is focusing on 67,000 extreme poor households, known as core participant households (CPHHs), which will receive a package of support including a productive asset of their choice, stipends, and access to services including water, sanitation and essential healthcare.
