Abstract

Sections 1 and 2 of this report provide a general background to Fiji and give a general description of its fisheries. Sections 3 and 4 describe the choice of Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs) study sites and the status of the adjacent reef fisheries. Historical and current data FAD deployments are desribed in section 5. Section 6 outlines data collection methods, presentation of data and their analysis. Finally in section 7, general conclusions and recommendations are presented.
