The acacia tree: a sustainable resource for Africa

Abstract

This booklet is based on a series of 14 research projects led between 1986 and 2004 by the Oxford Forestry Institute, the Natural Environment Research Council's Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, and the University of Dundee. The projects represent a thorough examination of a resource that has particular value to village farming communities in Africa.
