A Cross-Sectional Study of water and sanitation and risk of non-communicable diseases in Hlegu Township, Myanmar

Abstract

Strengthening primary health care in resource-constrained settings is crucial to achieving the rapid and equitable scale up for the delivery of essential interventions. This study aims to elucidate the ecological context of study sites about water and sanitation and risk of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in Hlegu Township, Myanmar; Gain insight on access to safe drinking water and sanitation-related practices, and estimate the potential risk behaviors linking to (NCDs).
