Abstract

A survey was conducted by the CABI South Asia to find out the technological and social constraints of banana production in Sind. A total of 260 respondents were contacted to collect the information. The data was collected through semi structured interviews and focused group discussions. The banana value chain stakeholders identified were inputs suppliers, farmers, farm workers, contractors, commission agents, wholesalers, retailers and consumers.
