Abstract

HIV-related stigma creates barriers to HIV prevention and treatment in sub-Saharan Africa, and health facilities are an important setting for HIV-related stigmatising behaviour and attitudes. Universal testing and treating of HIV (UTT), a key component of the PopART trial, may change the nature of HIV-related stigma.
